 roit born and Atlanta based Ash Lauryn is an international DJ\, curator an
 d cultural voice with deep roots in house and techno. She is best known fo
 r Underground & Black\, a platform she started as a blog before it grew in
 to an NTS Radio show and event series celebrating the history\, culture an
 d people behind black dance music.\n\nSince making her DJ debut in 2016\, 
 Ash has taken her sound around the world\, playing in cities including Lon
 don\, Berlin\, Amsterdam\, Ibiza\, New York\, Tokyo\, Milan and Lisbon. He
 r sets draw from the soulful side of house and techno\, with a strong conn
 ection to Detroit and the roots of the music.\n\nHer own music includes th
 e North Atlantic EP with Jimpster and Oveous\, as well as the track “Und
 erground & Black”with Kai Alcé. Beyond DJing and producing\, Ash contin
 ues to build spaces around music and community. In 2025\, she launched Mot
 her May I\, a family focused day party bringing parents and kids together 
 through music and play.\n\nWe are looking forward to bringing her to Byron
