The \;Combat &\; Disaster Medicine Symposium 2026 \;is the annual symposium of the \;Association of Swiss Milita ry Doctors (ASMD)\, bringing together physicians\, healthcare pra ctitioners \;and medical students \;with an interest in combat\, d isaster\, emergency\, and crisis medicine.

A special highlight of this year's symposium is a dedicated session on the \;Crans-Mo ntana fire disaster\, where professionals directly involved in th e incident will share their personal experiences\, followed by an interact ive panel discussion focusing on key lessons learned for disaster prepared ness and emergency response.

Join us for a day of inspiring lectur es\, practical training \;and valuable interdisciplinary exchange with colleagues who share an interest in preparing for medical challenges in c risis\, disaster\, and conflict settings.

The \;morning lecture programme \;is open to \;physicians\, healthcare practitio ners\, and medical students \;with an interest in combat and disaster medicine.
\n
Participation in the afternoon hands-on work shops is primarily restricted to physicians and medical students f rom the fourth year onwards. The \;War Casualty Triag e Simulation \;workshop is also open to paramedics. Exceptions\, including for medical students in earlier years \;may be granted \;upon request. \;Please careful ly consult the \;Preliminary Programme \;and the& nbsp\;Registration Information \;document for the eli gibility criteria\, recommended level of training\, and participant requir ements for each workshop before registering.
