DESCRIPTION:silent green presents\n\nPsychic Liberation (PL) is a label fou
 nded in 2013\, originally run with Miguel Alvariño under the name Primiti
 ve Languages as a cassette and record store project in New York City. Sinc
 e 2019\, Nick Klein has operated it solo from the EU under the title Psych
 ic Liberation. \n\nThe concert series of the same name takes place in the 
 Kuppelhalle with changing guests.\n\nAndrea Pensado\nAndrea Pensado is a s
 ound artist\, educator and concert organizer. Originally from Argentina\, 
 she has been based in the USA since 2002.\n\nPensado uses voice and hybrid
  electronics to make her music. The approach to both programming and perfo
 rmance is highly intuitive. Occasionally\, the combination of the performa
 nce situation\, the irrational use of the voice and the inherent uncertain
 ty of improvisations contributes to discoveries of unknown places in her m
 ind.\n\nHMOT\nSattar Stas Shärifulla\, aka HMOT\, is a Basel-based artist
 \, composer\, and researcher studying how listening shapes identity and me
 mory.\n\nBorn and raised in Eastern Siberia\, with Yılan Bashqort ancestr
 y (the “Bashkirs” of the Yelan clan)\, he explores the auditory nature
  of Northern and Central Asian autochthonous cultures\, where listening an
 d sounding have historically been more important than writing. \n\nWorking
  with both traditional instruments and computer music tools\, Stas practic
 es in performance\, spatial sound and mixed media installation\, open form
  composition\, free improvisation\, speculative sound fiction\, soundwalks
 \, and more. His main instrument is quray\, a Bashqort open end-blown flut
 e\, whose traditional sound he augments with electroacoustics and extended
  techniques\n \nbela\nbela (they/them) is a South Korean musician and perf
 ormance artist based between Berlin and Prague. bela uses guttural vocals 
 and feedback to build texture and resonance. Conceptually\, their work oft
 en adopts an autobiographical voice that courses through lived experiences
 \, lineage\, and transcendence. In this regard\, their music and performan
 ce ask to renew or expand the sense of locating around sounds and bodies w
 ithin the social and celestial sphere.\n\nA recent album and a performance
  of the same title\, Korean Love Sonnets\, is devoted to experimentation o
 n the acoustics of the guttural voice in relation to other bodies and spac
 es. bela discovers romance in its most tactile form\, leaning into creaks
 \, feedback\, and resonance to create a sombre yet intimate hour\, suspend
