DESCRIPTION:This introduction to Karate program fosters physical fitness\, 
 discipline\, and social interaction within a safe and supportive environme
 nt. It provides an ideal opportunity to embark on a martial arts journey i
 n a fun and engaging manner.\n\nSuitable for children and young people age
 d 6-14 years\, including beginners.\n\nOur new format will follow a struct
 ured outline. In Term 4 2026\, participants will learn: \n\nWeek 1: Genera
 l basics and etiquette\nWeek 2: Stances\, posture and movement\nWeek 3: Fi
 st and hand techniques\nWeek 4: Kicks and body positioning\nWeek 5: Moveme
 nt\, distance and positioning\nWeeks 6–7: Kata 1: Taikyoku Sono Ichi\nWe
 eks 8–9: Kata 2: Taikyoku Sono Ni\nWeek 10: Review\, demonstration\, and
  celebration of participants’ progress. First stripe grading for eligibl
 e students with uniforms (additional costs apply). \n\nFridays 16 October 
 - 18 December 2026 (10 weeks)\n4pm - 5pm \nPer child - $4 per session OR $
