  views and broke audience records. In these battles\, comedians and public
  figures step into the ring for a verbal showdown\, aiming to trade "compl
 iments" that are as politically incorrect as possible.\n\nWhile still some
 thing of an insider tip in Germany\, smaller roast battles take place week
 ly around the globe\, these are tracked within a worldwide "Roast Battle L
 eague" that culminates in a grand annual final at "The Mothership" in Aust
 in\, Texas - arguably one of the most prestigious stand-up comedy clubs in
  the world right now.\n\nHazel Brugger and Thomas Spitzer have long been h
 uge fans of comedy roast battles (they can be seen in the audience of Jeff

  "City Battle" between European cities at Frankfurt’s Käs - the first e
