DESCRIPTION:Born 1969. Died 1909.\n\nFor MERGE’s first ever all night lon
 g\, we’ve invited an artist who has had an immense impact on the project
 ’s evolution: RROSE.\n\nThe name comes from Rrose Sélavy\, Marcel Ducha
 mp’s androgynous alter ego - a playful reimagining of identity and art i
 tself. Rrose carries that same spirit of ambiguity into her work\, where t
 he boundaries between body and machine\, composition and improvisation\, d
 arkness and euphoria constantly shift. That tension feels especially at h
 ome in our techno sweet spot. RROSE’s approach treats the dancefloor as
  a space for transformation - using rhythm\, texture\, resonance\, and gra
 dual shifts in intensity to create something that feels both rigorously co
 mposed and totally alive.\n\nRROSE first played MERGE in 2021\, shortly af
 ter the project began at Market Hotel. Since then\, she has returned in ma
 ny different contexts and across numerous physical spaces\, becoming deepl
 y intertwined with the party’s identity. For her tenth visit\, it felt n
 atural to hand over the entire night. This is her first ever all night lon
 g\, and we’re beyond thrilled to host it in a new\, more intimate space.
 \n\nThe artwork takes inspiration from Marcel Duchamp and Man Ray's "Belle

 \n\nMerge is a Brooklyn-based\, queer party that aims to cultivate sonic l
 iminoid experiences through techno music. We will work together to incubat
 e the collective queer body\, and experience its transformation under the 
 influence of techno. We seek release\, mutual understanding\, deeper acces
 s to the personal\, interconnected\, and ethereal. We honor the sound thro
 ugh dance\, self expression\, and hyper-immersion.\n\n---\n\nWe have zero 
 tolerance for physical\, verbal\, or sexual harassment. This includes non-
 consensual touching\, violence\, discriminatory language\, or any behavior
 s that have a negative impact on the experience or the physical safety of
