 0PM Wakakirri is a nationwide initiative for Australian schools that provi
 des a platform for students to express their thoughts\, ideas\, and aspira
 tions through the art of storytelling and dance. Inspired by the belief th
 at great stories can inspire change\, Wakakirri is designed to promote stu
 dent engagement and well-being in schools through the creation and perform
 ance of captivating Story-Dances. Established in 1992\, Wakakirri has grow
 n into Australia's largest performing arts event for schools\, engaging ov
 er 10\,000 students annually. At the end of the season\, we recognise and 
 honour outstanding schools for their remarkable efforts in promoting posit
 ive social change through their Story-Dances.
