DESCRIPTION:Carlo Troja aka Don Carlos has been collecting records since th
 e late ’70s\, coming out of Varese in northern Italy with a musical grou
 nding in funk\, soul and Philly disco. By the early ’90s he was helping 
 shape a distinctly Italian take on deep house \, warm\, atmospheric and so
 ulful. His debut track from 1991 on Calypso/IRMA records\, ‘Alone’\, b
 ecoming a cult classic.\n\nHis debut album Mediterraneo followed in 1992\,
  with subsequent projects taking in everything from jazz and disco to elec
 tronic soul. Releases as Aquanauts on Chicago’s Guidance Recordings furt
 her cemented his connection with the deeper end of house music\, while mor
 e than three decades on\, his early productions continue to be rediscovere
 d\, reissued and played by a new generation of selectors.\n\nJoining Don C
 arlos is Liam Dollard\, one of the original figures in Dublin’s house mu
 sic story. After playing the now-fabled Thomas Street warehouse party in t
 he summer of 1990\, Dollard became a Friday night resident at Sides D.C.\,
  holding the residency for the next four years and establishing himself as
  a fixture of the city’s emerging club scene. Expect a deep knowledge of
