 9\, Thiago Presto escaped the dangerous favelas of Rio de Janeiro and emig
 rated to Leipzig. Five years later\, in 2024\, the German progressive\, ps
 ychedelic groove rock band Godzilla In The Kitchen faced a crisis. Musicia
 ns Simon Ulm and Eric Patzschke lost their drummer and struggled to rebuil
 d their trio. However\, giving up was never an option for the band\, which
  had already reached major milestones like performing at Wacken Open Air i
 n 2022. \n  \nA chain of coincidences brought Thiago Presto behind the dru
 m kit. He infused the band's groove rock with an explosive dose of power a
 nd traditional Maracatu rhythms.  \n  \nThis lineup change completely tran
 sformed their sound. Moving away from purely instrumental music\, Simon Ul
 m took over vocal duties to address contemporary world events and deep emo
 tions. What was once an instrumental rock group has now evolved into a pow
 erful alternative metal machine with poignant lyrics. Their new sonic iden
 tity is fully realized in their upcoming third album\, Termination Sequenc
