 lia this February in support of their latest album ...IS YOUR FRIEND\, whe
 re they'll hit Nambour\, Brisbane\, Sydney & Melbourne with their highly e
 nergetic chaos. DRAIN have built their reputation by turning hardcore show
 s into something more akin to a communal celebration. The barrier between 
 band and audience melts and everyone in the room becomes part of the show.
  Formed in 2014 DRAIN came from a scene they effectively had to build them
 selves. Frontman Sammy Ciaramitaro began booking shows at a Santa Cruz cof
 fee shop\, helping build a local hardcore community from the ground up. Th
 at DIY mentality never left\, resulting in a decade-long journey that has 
 taken them to some of the biggest stages in the world. Their 2020 debut Ca
 lifornia Cursed arrived just as the world shut down\, but when live music 
 returned\, DRAIN exploded straight out of the gate and by 2022 they were h
 eadlining the opening night of Sound and Fury in front of 6000 people. Wha
 t had begun as a bunch of friends making noise in NorCal rapidly became on
 e of the era's defining hardcore bands. 2023’s Living Proof went further
 \, combining hardcore with the punk and thrash that has always lurked bene
 ath the surface and extending their appeal across generations to those rai
 sed on the original collision of hardcore and thrash. DRAIN have blazed th
 rough hundreds of shows around the world\, headlining festivals\, touring 
 alongside hardcore heavyweights and taking their chaos far beyond the conf
 ines of the DIY scene\, including arena tours with Blink-182 . But they've
  never really been about the career milestones\, they're about what happen
 s when the show kicks off. The electricity coming off the stage and the ro
 om screaming back every word while bodies fly through the air. It's someth
