 inx aus Nowosibirsk«. \nDiesen Beinamen hat sich Roman Borisov bei der Pr
 esse eingehandelt aufgrund seines enigmatischen Lächelns und seiner Unber
 echenbarkeit\, was die Wahl seiner Programme angeht – Borisov\, der Pian
 ist mit dem so subtilen Anschlag\, spielt gerne Werke abseits des Standard
 s. So wie hier das letzte Klavierkonzert von Camille Saint-Saëns\, das de
 r französische Komponist als »eine Art Orientreise« bezeichnet hat\, en
 tstanden wirklich im ägyptischen Luxor. Durch und durch nach Paris klingt
  der Frühlingsmorgen\, den die 24-jährige Lili Boulanger komponiert hat.
  Es wurde ihr letztes Werk – sie lebte schon nicht mehr\, als Grażyna B
 acewicz 1932 nach Paris kam\, um bei Lilis Schwester Nadia Boulanger zu st
 udieren. Grażyna Bacewicz gilt als die erste herausragende Komponistin Po
 lens\, endlich ist mehr und mehr von ihrer so ausdrucksstarken Musik in de
 n Konzertsälen zu hören. Musik? »Ich habe nur ein Meisterwerk gemacht\,
  das ist der Boléro\; leider enthält er keine Musik«\, so Maurice Ravel
  leicht kokettierend. Nun\, das ist eine Frage der Definition. Was er aber
  auf unbestritten hat: Die Kraft\, ein Publikum 15 Minuten lang hypnotisch
  in den Bann zu schlagen. \n \nKonzertdauer: ca. 125 Minuten  – inklusiv
 e Pause\n___________\n\nAn »Egyptian Piano Concerto«\, a world-famous Sp
 anish boléro\, a Polish symphony that is all the more obscure – and yet
  all roads lead to Paris. The other ingredients for a special concert even
 ing: Roberto González-Monjas—a conductor from Spain whose style is as d
 ance-like as it is invigorating – and the »Sphinx from Novosibirsk«. 
 \n \nRoman Borisov earned this nickname from the press due to his enigmati
 c smile and his unpredictability when it comes to choosing his programs—
 Borisov\, the pianist with such a subtle touch\, likes to play works outsi
 de the mainstream. Take\, for example\, Camille Saint-Saëns’s last pian
 o concerto\, which the French composer described as »a kind of journey to
  the Orient« and which was indeed composed in Luxor\, Egypt. The Spring M
 orning\, composed by the 24-year-old Lili Boulanger\, resonates thoroughly
  with Paris. It was her final work—she had already passed away by the ti
 me Grażyna Bacewicz came to Paris in 1932 to study with Lili’s sister\,
  Nadia Boulanger. Grażyna Bacewicz is considered Poland’s first outstan
 ding female composer\; finally\, more and more of her highly expressive mu
 sic can be heard in concert halls. Music? »I have only created one master
 piece\, and that is the Boléro\; unfortunately\, it contains no music«\,
  said Maurice Ravel\, with a touch of coquetry. Well\, that is a matter of
  definition. But one thing is indisputable: its power to mesmerize an audi
