DESCRIPTION:As the fall settles into our fair city we are forced to come to
  terms with the darkness of winter once again. Gone are the late summer ni
 ghts spent dancing into the early hours of the morning\, coming face to fa
 ce with full sun at 5am. \n\nThe leaves are changing colours outside\, and
  we have once again found ourselves in a familiar dark room. We've gathere
 d here before\, and all your friends are here\, dancing without inhibition
 . \n\nObstructed View has returned for its fourth edition. Featuring two o
 f our favourite djs from the Vancouver underground\, we are excited to pre
 sent this latest edition of the event. \n\nThis show has been months in th
 e making\, having had its’ seeds sown at our New Years Party where we we
 re lucky enough to witness an absolutely mind-bending set by Slim Media Pl
 ayer. Sam\, as he is known to some of us\, is a longstanding fixture of th
 e scene. He is a one man powerhouse of Pacific Northwest raving. Having th
 rown some legendary parties around the city over the last 10+ years\, and 
 releasing some truly beautiful music on wax during the heyday of Pacific R
 hythm\, plus some loose tracks on Weirdos Inc. and other local purveyors o
 f heady sounds. Given all of this\, he was a natural next fit to lead our 
 fourthcoming edition.\n\nJoining him is Daniel Rincon\, also known as NAP
 \, who was a last minute addition to our party Everything is Alive in Marc
 h. Daniel is a prolific selector and musician\, with an incomparable outpu
 t. His label Isla has vast and varied library of releases\, and is a fanta
 stic archive of global underground electronic music. As a producer and art
 ist he has built an unparalleled track record of releases. He is half of A
 mbien Baby alongside dtiff\, another legend of the Vancouver scene produce
 r. As half of DOSIS he and our friend ZDBT released one of the most infect
 ious dance EPs of 2026\, Ritmo Animal. \n\nHonestly there’s too much for
  me to write about here. It’s worth a dive on your own time into his cat
 alogue\, you’re guaranteed to find something you’ll like.\n\nAs with p
 ast editions of the party\, your eyes will be treated to a rich visual pal
 ette. We’re inviting our good friend Anna Shkuratoff to help direct our 
 visual journey. She will be joined by our other friends\, Stuck Production
 s. The driving force behind Shovelmania in Vancouver. There’s a lot more
  in store visually\, but we will need to keep things vague for now.\n\nLig
 hting will be provided by the best and brightest of the scene\, Penumbra r
 eturns to Obstructed View. Fresh off his gorgeous work at the recent 4x4 C
 ampout\, we are thrilled to be inviting him back\n\nAs with previous editi
 ons of the party\, the djs will be playing all vinyl\, all night\, out of
