DESCRIPTION:King Woman kombiniert Drone\, Shoegaze und Doom Metal mit äthe
 rischen Einflüssen und begann als Soloprojekt von Kristina Esfandiari\, b
 evor das Projekt 2017 mit der Veröffentlichung von «Created in the Image
  of Suffering» zu einer vollwertigen Band anwuchs. Vier Jahre später keh
 rte die Gruppe mit dem dynamischen Album «Celestial Blues» zurück\, das
  Post-Rock- und Grunge-Elemente in ihr Klangspektrum aufnahm. Esfandiari\,
  die auch für ihre Arbeit mit/als Miserable\, Dalmatian\, Sugar High und 
 NGHTCRWLR bekannt ist\, gründete King Woman 2009. 2021 erschien ihr hypno
 tisches zweites Album «Celestial Blues»\, das – wie sein Vorgänger 
 – Themen wie Trauma und Religion aufgreift\, inspiriert von Esfandiaris 
 Kindheit in einem stark religiös geprägte Milieu und die Loslösung aus
