 during the 1960s and 1970s. Over the years he has worked with prominent sh
 owbiz figures including Norman Wisdom\, Mickey Rooney\, George Cole\, Prun
 ella Scales\, and David Carradine\, as well as Cleo Laine and Johnny Dankw
 orth. He went on to start a film distribution company before launching the
  ground-breaking Talking Pictures TV. In the 2024 New Year’s Honours Lis
 t\, he was awarded the British Empire Medal for his services to television
