 bringing in Jason Ross—the meteorologist behind the Zenith Snowpack News
 letter—for an evening of advanced weather forecasting as we roll into sk
 i season.\nYou know Jason from our snowpack discussion evenings but tonigh
 t he will be flying solo to give you a deep dive into weather forecasting 
 and the tools he uses to help build a mountain weather forecast. This is f
 or the folks that are already pouring over weather tools and maps. Maybe y
 ou know there’s different models out there but don’t quite know how to
  choose one or the other.\nAbout Jason \n\nJason is a meteorologist based
  in Squamish\, BC. He began his weather career at the age of 12 as a volun
 teer weather observer for Environment Canada in the Squamish Valley\, meas
 uring precipitation and temperature.\nJason worked for several years as a 
 surface weather observer for NAV CANADA and Environment Canada\, specializ
 ing in aviation meteorology\, before becoming a meteorologist. Today\, he 
 provides custom-tailored forecasts for a private weather company that supp
 orts aviation weather services across North America. He has also been work
 ing with Zenith Guides for the past few years to provide weather forecasts
  for their weekly newsletter.\nWhen he’s not staring at screens and trac
 king storms\, Jason can be found trail running\, skiing\, exploring the ba
 ckcountry\, or hanging out with his family\n \nCome dive deep with Jason!
