SUMMARY:Crash Test Dummies
LOCATION:Leeds Brudenell Social Club
DESCRIPTION:- One of the most recognizable voices in Canadian music histor
y\, alternative rock band Crash Test Dummies is a three-time Grammy-nomina
ted and JUNO award-winning group\, who soared to the top of the worldwide
charts in the early 1990’s with hits “Mmm\, Mmm\, Mmm\, Mmm” and “
Superman’s Song”. Their cover of “The Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead”
was a highlight of the soundtrack to the blockbuster film\, “Dumb and D
umber”\, while simultaneously reaching #4 on the US Top 100 album charts
. They have remained true to the same folk-hued\, alternative spirit of th
eir early sound\, centered around the distinct baritone of frontman Brad R
 oberts and Ellen Reid’s folk-rock fusion.After a twenty-year hiatus\, th
e Crash Test Dummies reunited in 2018 for a two-week tour to celebrate the
anniversary of the hugely successful “God Shuffled His Feet”. The ove
rwhelming reception to these shows has led to continuous touring across th
 ree continents\, with sold-out shows across the US\, Canada\, the UK\, Ger
 many\, Austria\, the Netherlands and\, most recently\, Australia.“Tourin
g again was not something we’d planned on\, but surprisingly– at least
to me – there are lots of people who many years later\, still want to c
ome and hear us\,” says lead singer and principal songwriter Brad Robert
 s. “It’s humbling\, being in the confidence of so many people.” The
band is returning to the UK in the fall of 2026 for an extensive tour and
ending 2026 with a tour of Canada’s west coast. Early 2027 will see a re
turn to Australia as a result of their sold out tour in 2025.The dynamic a
nd high-energy stage show features the band’s most iconic songs\, perfor
med by original members Brad Roberts\, Ellen Reid\, Dan Roberts and Mitch
Dorge. Joining them are long-standing guitarist Stuart Cameron and relativ
 e newcomer Leith Fleming-Smith\, Canada’s keyboard whiz-kid.\n\nBoletos:
