DESCRIPTION:This 4-week group education course is for first time parents wh
 o are birthing their baby at Mercy Hospital for Women\, Heidelberg. \nAll 
 4 sessions are held onsite at Mercy Hospital for Women\, Heidelberg and ai
 m to provide you and your support person with professional childbirth educ
 ation.\n\nOur midwifery educators will provide information on a variety of
  topics such as:\n- Labour stages & signs\n- Coming to hospital\n- The imp
 ortance of support in labour - what can they do!\n- Coping with labour at 
 home & in the hospital (including medical options)\n- When assistance is r
 equired for labour & birthing \n- Understanding breastfeeding\n- The early
  weeks with a newborn (safe sleeping\, settling)\n- Recovery post birth \n
 - Supports in hospital & community for the new family\n\nSession Dates: Th
 ursdays x4 weeks - 15 Oct\, 22 Oct\, 29 Oct\, 5 Nov.\nSession Times: 5pm -
 7pm \n\nAll onsite at Mercy Hospital for Women\, 163 Studley Rd\, Heidelbe
 rg\n\nPlease Note: \n- 1 ticket is for 2 people (Birthing parent +1 suppor
 t person) to attend both classes. \n- Book classes to START between 27-32 
 weeks pregnancy.  \n- Please ensure you use the pregnant person's name whe
 n you book\n- You must provide your Mercy Hospital for Women (Heidelberg) 
 Medical Record Number to book in.  We will check that you are booked in to
  have your baby at MHW. \n- You will receive a confirmation email from Try
 booking once you have booked. \n\nPayments & Refunds\n- Each family is eli
 gible for ONE ticket only.  This includes the pregnant person + 1 support 
 person.\n\nMedicare card ticket - FREE - when pregnant person:\n- is booke
 d to birth as a public patient at MHW\n- has a valid Medicare card (or eli
 gible for reciprocal rights)\n\nNo Medicare card ticket - $220 when pregna
 nt person\n- is booked to birth as a private patient at Mercy Hospital for
  Women\n\nCancelling / Rescheduling\n- If you need to reschedule your clas
 s\, please CANCEL your booking on the TRYBOOKING site\, then rebook into a
 nother course.  PLEASE ensure you cancel to enable someone else to take th
 e spot. \n- If you can't make one of the classes we are unable to offer a
