 us in the cosy and arty basement space. And this October we're headed into
  Spooky Season once again. Join our Drag Queen\, Tania in an hour of spook
 y magic that will Trick everyone into laughter and Treat the children to m
 any tales. Celebrate your Halloween with a Dragtastic Books that celebrate
  diversity and all the colours of the rainbow. Bubbles\, Song\, Dances and
  Special Puppet Guests to Boo the Morning Away. Notes about Corner New Cro
 ssBRING YOUR OWN PILLOW – we'll try our best to make the space as cosy a
 s possible\, but we'd really appreciate it if you could bring your own pil
 low or soft furnishings to help make it as comfy as possible for you and y
 our kids.Please also arrive from 10.30am so that you have time to grab a d
 rink and sweet treat before the performance at 11am.In order to keep the e
 vent sustainable\, we need to be earning enough money from the event to bo
 th cover the performer's costs as well as the venue. Please give generousl

 ately has about 12 quite steep and narrow stairs to go down to the room an
 d there is no lift. About Drag TalesWe believe every child deserves to und
 erstand diversity\, feel included and develop a sense of belonging no matt
 er who they are. Through familiar tales read by our fabulous\, gender-dive
 rse performers\, children discover that being different is just another wa
 y of being wonderfully normal.Our fun\, fruity and fabulous Dragged Around
  London drag performers will help beloved children’s books leap off the 
 page into technicolour life through captivating storytelling\, joyful song
 s\, energetic dancing\, puppet shows\, interactive games\, and showers of 
 sparkling bubbles. What We Will Do During Our Hour of Fun ★ One hour of 
 live performance including storytelling\, songs\, dancing\, puppet shows\,
  games & bubbles ★ Professional drag performer with full costume\, props
  and puppets ★ Curated selection of children’s books celebrating diver
 sity\, inclusion and imagination ★ Interactive audience participation su
 itable for children of all agesAt Drag Tales\, we will adapt to the kids a
 t the session\, and make sure everyone has a good time.We’ll read books 
 like Where The Wild Things Are\, Penguin\, Girls\, The Hug and many other 
 classic stories. We want children to see books they know and love being re
 ad by gender diverse fabulous beings so that they can see us as just as no
 rmal as anyone else. By using stories they’re familiar with\, the whole 
 environment becomes familiar and comfortable.We encourage our performers t
 o choose stories that they loved in their own childhoods to bring a person
 al touch to every session.And if you have any particular stories you want 
 read\, songs you want sung\, or games you want played\, we are open to ada
 pting to what you’d like your children to experience.It’s all about cr
 eating a safe space to play and learn about the wonderful differences in t
