 tlife. It examines how image-making has encouraged\, and sometimes jeopard
 ised\, the formation of queer practices\, subcultures\, and resistance. In
 stead of offering a timeline of queer nightlife\, the book is a love lette
 r to those who went out and stayed out\, felt the urge to document or refl
 ect on these spaces\, or who have used their artmaking to imagine new ways
  of being.Our Meet the Author series invites you to learn more about Brita
 in’s queer history from those who are writing it. Each event features an
