 pants to translate transformative life moments into dramatic\, high-stakes
  scenes for stage and screen. This workshop focuses on building internal t
 ension and crafting compelling mysteries\, rather than relying solely on e
 xternal crises\, to create impactful narratives. Writers participate in an
  interactive\, collaborative session\, sharing work for constructive feedb
 ack. The day concludes with a dedicated revision period\, focusing on shar
 pening dialogue\, pacing\, and imagery\, followed by a final celebratory s
 howcase of the refined scripts.\nJudith Thompson is a playwright\, screenw
 riter and novelist. In Crow’s Field is her debut novel. Her plays\, inc
 luding The Crackwalker\, Lion in the Streets\, White Biting Dog\, and Perf
 ect Pie. have earned numerous awards. She is an Officer of the Order of Ca
 nada. Judith grew up in Kingston and teaches at the University of Guelph.
