SUMMARY:Roger Miller (Mission of Burma) + Storey Littleton (Ida) at Phog
LOCATION:Meteor
DESCRIPTION:Roger Miller (Mission of Burma) + Storey Littleton (Ida) at Ph
 og Sept 19th / $25 advanced / $30 door / 8pm doors \nFor fans of: Guided
By Voices\, Gang Of Four\, The Dream Syndi\nRoger Clark Miller was guitari
st/vocalist/co-leader in the highly influential post-punk band Mission of
Burma. Their album "Vs." was listed at number 19 in POP MATTERS' “50 Bes
 t Post-Punk Albums ever”\, and number 24 in Rolling Stone's "100 Greates
t Punk Albums of All Time" . They have a chapter dedicated to them in the
Indie Rock Bible "Our Band Could be Your Life." Miller was listed as numbe
r two of nine absolutely essential Post-Punk Guitarists in TONE REPORT.He
continued expanding his guitar skills after Burma\, recently in his "Dream
Interpretations for Solo Electric Guitar Ensemble" and his current rock b
and "Trinary System" (both on Cuneiform Records).\nHis new album\, "The Gr
een Man"\, due late summer 2026 on Don Giovanni Records\, sees him returni
ng to slightly more traditional song-writing. As a solo singer/songwriter\
, the lyrics are prominent\, supported by his unique guitar stylings. Mini
mal loops create the illusion of more than one player on-stage\, and give
him room to explore the guitar in ways that only he can. Residual post-pun
k collides with psychedelia and a use of words that is not run of the mill
. Response to the solo live shows has been exceptional\, and to his surpri
 se\, new songs appear on a regular basis.\nPop Matters\, Jan. 2023: “His
skills as a guitar player and his bottomless imagination have collided in
a perfect encapsulation of the two traits\, bringing forth a third strand
that just can’t be imitated by anyone else\, no matter how hard anyone
 should try.”\nTreble Magazine\, 2026: “Miller puts on a master class i
 n guitar sonics\, unleashing a torrent of fuzz-drenched strings stabs\, be
 nds and scrapes.”\nPremier Guitar\, Jan. 2023: “The post-punk 6-string
hero takes a deep dive into sonic surrealism with his new album\, a loop-
driven collection of riveting soundscapes.”\nHe is also a visual artist\
, and\, on keyboards\, tours nationally and internationally in The Anvil O
rchestra accompanying silent film. His music can be found on more labels th
an you can count.\n \nStorey Littleton is a songwriter from Woodstock NY.
Her first album “At a Diner” came out February 2026 on Don Giovanni R
ecords. Inspired by the likes of Judee Sill\, Liz Phair\, and Kacey Musgra
ves\, Storey’s feathery vocals blend the melodies of pop with the pang o
f folk\, at once gentle and all-consuming. The album features moments of r
estraint and rupture: intricate finger-picked melodies give way to electri
c guitar rumbles and wails alongside the humor\, drama and catchiness of 6
0’s girl group pop. Her other musical projects include fronting the band
M0NOGAMY alongside Livia Reiner and Matthew Danger Lippman\, and playing
guitar and keys for Ida\, Lola Kirke\, Calder The Destroyer\, Luella and T
 he Hedons.\n\nBoletos: https://www.showpass.com/roger-miller-mission-of-bu
