 nommiertesten von vielen Auszeichnungen für die vom hr produzierte »Tato
 rt«-Folge »Im Schmerz geboren« (2014) mit Ulrich Tukur als Kommissar Mu
 rot. Nun ist der Streifen mit seinem komplett klassischen Soundtrack – v
 om hr-Sinfonieorchester diesmal live gespielt – auf der großen Leinwand
  zu erleben. \n\nDie von der Kritik als ein filmisches Meisterwerk gefeier
 te Episode hat nur wenig mit einem klassischen Fernsehkrimi gemein\, steck
 t dafür aber voller Anspielungen\, Zitate und Querverweise mit Bezügen z
 ur Theater- und Filmgeschichte: von Sophokles und Shakespeare über Dürre
 nmatt\, Truffaut und den Italo-Western bis hin zu Tarantino. Diese cineast
 ische Verbeugung vor dem kulturellen Erbe wird durch einen eigentlich nahe
 liegenden und doch besonders geistreich wirkenden Kunstgriff überzeugend 
 abgerundet: Denn der Soundtrack von »Im Schmerz geboren« besteht ausschl
 ießlich aus klassischer Musik – von einer berückenden Opern-Arie Händ
 els und einer Klavier-Nocturne von Chopin über Verdis berühmten »Gefang
 enenchor« aus »Nabucco« bis hin zu Georges Delerues Filmmusik zu »Jule
 s et Jim«. Und sämtliche Aufnahmen für diesen »Tatort« stammen vom hr
 -Sinfonieorchester – teils aus den Archiven des Hessischen Rundfunks\, t
 eils im Rahmen einer Aufnahmesession unter der Leitung des Filmmusik-Exper
 ten Frank Strobel im März 2014 im hr-Sendesaal eigens neu eingespielt. In
  der gleichen Besetzung und am selben Ort erklingen die rund 20 Musik-Auss
 chnitte bei diesem »Musik und Film«-Konzert live zum Film.  \n\nKonzertd
 auer: ca. 90 Minuten  – ohne Pause!\n\nAltersempfehlung ab 16 Jahren\n\n
 ___________\n\nThe »Golden Camera« and the »Grimme Award« were just th
 e most prestigious of many awards won by the »Tatort« episode »Im Schme
 rz geboren« (Born in Pain\, 2014)\, produced by Hessischer Rundfunk\, sta
 rring Ulrich Tukur as Inspector Murot. The film\, with its entirely classi
 cal soundtrack – performed live this time by the Frankfurt Radio Symphon
 y – can now be watched on the big screen. \n\nHailed by critics as a cin
 ematic masterpiece\, the episode has little in common with a traditional t
 elevision crime drama\, but is instead brimming with allusions\, quotation
 s and cross-references to theatre and film history: from Sophocles and Sha
 kespeare to Dürrenmatt\, Truffaut and the Italo-Western\, right through t
 o Tarantino. This cinematic homage to cultural heritage is convincingly ro
 unded off by a device that is actually quite obvious yet seems particularl
 y ingenious: For the soundtrack of »Im Schmerz geboren« consists entirel
 y of classical music – from an enchanting opera aria by Handel and a pia
 no nocturne by Chopin\, through Verdi’s famous »Chorus of the Hebrew Sl
 aves« from »Nabucco«\, to Georges Delerue’s film score for »Jules et
  Jim«. And the recordings for this »Tatort« episode all come from the F
 rankfurt Radio Symphony – partly from the archives of Hessischer Rundfun
 k (HR)\, and partly newly recorded during a session conducted by film musi
 c expert Frank Strobel in March 2014 in the Broadcasting Hall of the HR. W

 excerpts will be performed live to accompany the film at this »Music and
