 between sound and cinema\, The Kilimanjaro Darkjazz Ensemble (TKDE) crafts
  music that feels like a forgotten dream—one suspended between the surre
 al and the sublime. Founded in 2000 by Jason Köhnen and Gideon Kiers\, th
 e project began as a live reimagining of soundtracks for silent film class
 ics such as Metropolis and Nosferatu.\n\nWhat followed was the birth of an
  ensemble that redefined atmosphere itself. Over time\, TKDE expanded to i
 nclude Hilary Jeffery (trombone\, effects)\, Charlotte Cegarra (vocals)and
  Eelco Bosman (guitar). Their collective improvisation and cinematic aesth
 etic created a distinct sonic identity — one that bridges ambient\, doom
 \, jazz\, post-rock and experimental electronica into an otherworldly form
  of auditory storytelling.\n\nThe group’s live performances are renowned
  for their hypnotic visual and sonic experience\, often accompanied by abs
 tract film projections that mirror the ensemble’s spectral mood. Their i
 nfluence continues to resonate through modern dark jazz and experimental e
 lectronic circles\, marking TKDE as one of the genre’s most innovative a
 nd enduring collectives.\n\n\\----\n\nAgnes Haus is a UK-based non-binary 
 audio-visual artist and composer creating slow\, murky\, fractured aural l
 andscapes revolving around semi-autonomous dark explorations\, made with m
 odular synthesisers and a self-built bowed stringed instrument. They’ve 
 released three albums on Opal Tapes and Nite Hive and a ghostly fourth\, E
 idolon\, out in October on LINE sound/art editions - an improvisational\, 
 hypnotic & haunting accompaniment to a synesthetic visual.\n\nAlong with a
 udio\, Agnes Haus is known for their visual work\, exploring the dark and 
 the surreal for Mogwai\, Microcorps\, Penelope Trappes and more. They have
  shown their work at Queen Elisabeth Hall\, Attenborough Centre for the Ar
 ts\, EarTH\, Dark MOFO Festival\, Sonica Festival\, Embryogallery Festival
