  with original live score returns with a rare screening of the 1922 Swedis
 h-Danish horror film\, Häxan. Written and directed by Benjamin Christense
 n\, Häxan is described as “a witches’ brew of the scary\, the gross\,
  and the darkly humorous.” Praised for its combination of documentary-st
 yle and narrative storytelling\, as well as its visual imagery\, Häxan is
  considered Christensen's masterpiece\, providing audiences with an experi
 ence unlike anything else in the history of cinema. The film will be live-
 scored with a performance featuring new work by **Paris1919**\, the musica
 l collective of celebrated composer Chris Strouth and select Twin Cities m
 usicians\, including Natalie Nowytski (a classically-trained vocalist-turn
 ed-folk music geek who sings in 50+ languages and 12+ distinct vocal style
 s)\, guitarist Kent Militzer\, and multi-instrumentalist David J. Russ\, a
 nd Terrell X D'avion (Carnage The Executioner) one of America's premier be
 at boxers and a legendary figure of midwestern Hip-Hop. Strouth’s work h
