 brate the release of Trouble\, Baker will embark on a 9-date nationwide to
 ur across Aotearoa throughout October and November\, performing songs from
  the new album alongside favourites from across his catalogue. The tour be
 gins with a series of intimate solo performances before expanding into ful
 l-band shows. Written\, produced and arranged by Baker across 2024 and 202
 5 from his studio in Titahi Bay\, Wellington\, Trouble is rooted in timele
 ss songwriting\, blending retro-soul influences with contemporary producti
 on. Across nine songs\, the album unfolds as Baker's most assured work to 
 date\, balancing social observation with reflections on love\, resilience 
 and the work of confronting himself. Over the past decade\, Baker has esta
 blished himself as one of Aotearoa New Zealand's most distinctive contempo
 rary soul artists. Renowned for his captivating live performances\, expres
 sive guitar playing and rich\, soulful vocals\, he has built a loyal inter
 national following through sheer authenticity and craft. He has toured ext
 ensively throughout Australia\, Europe\, the UK and Aotearoa\, sharing sta
 ges with artists including Jordan Rakei\, Allen Stone and Jamie Lidell\, a
 nd most recently joined Fat Freddy's Drop on their international tours acr
