 Leeds-based pianist & composer Simeon Walker has quickly emerged as a lead
 ing light in the burgeoning modern classical scene. Alongside a busy perfo
 rmance and touring schedule across the UK and Europe\, in recent years he 
 has supported a variety of high-profile artists including Neil Cowley\, Su
 bmotion Orchestra\, Loscil\, Erland Cooper\, LYR\, Sophie Hutchings and Ja
 smine Myra\, performing notable live sets at Latitude\, Timber Festival\, 
 the Edinburgh Fringe and the inaugural edition of SXSW London.His music is
  regularly broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and ClassicFM\, and has received liste
 ning figures in excess of 50 million streams across platforms. His piece 
 ‘Reverie’ (2022) notably features on the first official Piano Day comp
 ilation by the LEITER label\, alongside modern classical luminaries Nils F
 rahm\, Olafur Arnalds and Chilly Gonzales.An in-demand collaborator and se
 ssion musician\, Simeon has worked with numerous musicians\, composers and
  performers across a wide range of genres and musical styles. With a keen 
 interest in interdisciplinary work\, he has received commissions from BBC 
 Radio 4\, University of Leeds\, TheModern House and Centro de Artes e Espe
 ctáculo de Portalegre (Portugal)\, and working with dancers\, artists\, p
 ainters\, filmmakers and writers to bring stories to life via musical and 
 creative collaboration.Whilst studying for a Masters in Composition\, he s
 tudied under the tutelage of the recently-appointed Master of the King’s
  Music Errollyn Wallen. With a background in classical music alongside a k
 een interest in jazz\, folk and ambient music\, Simeon’s diverse and var
 ied creative output coupled with his informal\, invitational and warm-hear
 ted approach to live performance reflects the extremes of human experience
  and emotion\, aiming to bring people together around the joy of shared mu
 sical experiences.Encompassing moments of quiet\, gentle solitude through 
 to boisterous\, flowing exuberance - this is music composed and performed 
 from the heart\; simultaneously capturing a sense of open\, spacious lands
