DESCRIPTION:300 Joules was created by Dr Jonathan Martin (lead guitar and 
 vocals) and Dr Cameron Singleton (bass) in 2023 as music therapy to reliev
 e the stress of their busy careers as Adelaide medical specialists. Fired 
 by a passion for rock and blues music\, they have since been joined by Drs
  Peter Tyllis (drums)\, Adrian Chung (guitar and keys)\, Charles Cock (gui
 tar and vocals) and Prof. David Cropley (Lead vocals and harmonica). Along
  with their own songs\, they play covers of well-known rock and blues hits
  from bands like The Rolling Stones\, AC/DC\, Jimi Hendrix\, Dire Straits\
 , The Cars\, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and more. The philosophy of the band i
 s that music is for everyone. As the name implies\, we are here to get you
 r heart started and judging by the reaction of audiences in the pubs and c
 lubs of Adelaide\, 300 Joules can do just that! In October last year 300 J
 oules rocked the Gov and raised money for the men’s health charity\, Mov
 ember. On the 31st of October this year we are doing it again with a tripl
 e celebration at the Gov! We are celebrating the release of the bands firs
 t original EP along with Halloween and raising money for Movember. Music i
 s the best medicine\, so come along\, help us to kick start Movember 2026
