 traits capture the unique moment when a person shares a secret\, summarize
 d in a long-hidden word or phrase that is then painted onto their skin. Ea
 ch of these powerful moments releases a generous contribution to the world
 \, a buoyant reminder of living fully and the beauty and strength that com
 es from facing and embracing our vulnerability and hidden treasure. Direct
 or Katheryn Trenshaw writes:“Many years ago during a silent retreat I ha
 d an epiphany. I realized that the greatest treasure I hold is buried deep
  inside – the thing I least want anyone to know about. This ultimately b
 irthed the In Your Own Skin project.I went out into the world\, armed with
  body paints\, a small crew and a few cameras\, to record people discussin
 g their hidden truths. I then painted that word onto their skin and photog
 raphed their portraits.While creating the film\, book and portraits\, I me
 t with over 300 people from more than 35 countries and all walks of life. 
 Each of these powerful moments releases a generous contribution to the wor
 ld\, a buoyant reminder of living fully and the beauty and strength that c
 omes from facing and embracing our vulnerability. This in turn grows our i
 ntimacy and presence.”Through her non-judgemental\, unique and sensitive
  approach\, Katheryn has now created the In Your Own Skin film project as 
 well as portraits printed in large scale format for museum/gallery display
