DESCRIPTION:Formed in Nottingham in 1987\, Lawnmower Deth are one of the UK
 ’s most gloriously unhinged cult thrash bands. Blending razor-sharp riff
 s\, hardcore velocity and a warped sense of humour\, the band occupy the c
 haotic space where thrash\, punk and hardcore collide—loud\, fast and un
 apologetic.\n\nEarly releases including Ooh Crikey (1989)\, the Kids In Am
 erica EP (1990)\, Return of the Fabulous Metal Bozo Clowns (1991) and Bill
 y (1993) earned them a fiercely loyal following thanks to their breakneck 
 songs and anarchic live shows. After years of cult status\, the band retur
 ned in 2022 with Blunt Cutters — their first studio album in 29 years 
 — produced by Chris Clancey and released via Cherry Red.\n\nLawnmower De
 th’s legend has only grown over time\, with appearances at Download Fest
 ival (six times)\, Bloodstock\, Damnation and London’s Alexandra Palace
 \, plus a notorious collaboration with Kim Wilde on the festive anthem FU 
 Kristmas.\n\nKnown for chaotic performances delivered with equal parts pre
 cision and reckless abandon\, the band thrive on audience connection and p
 ure energy.\n\nWith new drummer Chris Billam (Consumed) now behind the kit
  and the band firing harder than ever\, Lawnmower Deth continue to prove t
 hat good taste is optional — but volume and velocity are essential.\n\n
