DESCRIPTION:Queer Open Decks is a free support and networking event for any
  LGBTQ+ DJs working within London/Online or those looking to learn basic D
 J skills. Started as a small meet up at the London LGBTQ+ Centre\, we are 
 now a community of genre-fluid LGBTQ+ DJs meeting monthly. To celebrate ou
 r birthday\, and bring people together\, this month's theme is a B2B Birth
 day Bash. 🎉🎉 Bring along a mate (or two) to do a back-to-back set wi
 th. If you don’t have a DJ bud\, we’ll find you a DJ partner you can p
 lay with on arrival. Equipment details: We are able to accommodate both Vi
 nyl\, CDJs & Digital DJS (using either USB or laptops - with or without co
 ntrollers). Sign up details: During the night\, we have 1x 30 minute slots
  from 6.30-7.00pm & 3 x 20 min slots that you can sign up in advance via t
 his link\, followed by 5 x 30 minute slots from 8.00-10.30pm that you can 
 sign up for on the night.The venue will be in the upstairs bar of Dalston

 ite. Guidelines:Please note that this is primarily a social/community-orie
 nted event rather than a club night - the space is there for those wishing
  to learn to DJ in a supportive environment alongside more experienced DJs
 . We welcome complete beginners - just come as you are and bring your inte
 rest. Friends of DJs are very much welcome.As mentioned above\, we are pri
 marily a queer social group. We’ d encourage you to avoid arriving for y
 our set and leaving straight afterwards. Mingle with the other DJs\, make 
 friends\, and hype up the other DJs for their sets. We are a queer space. 
 This means fostering a space that is inclusive and respectful of all backg
 rounds\, particularly those marginalised from mainstream gay spaces. We ar
 e anti-racist\, trans positive and care about making the space accessible
