 ls Berlin are committed to creating space for female voices and visions 
 — whether monstrous\, heroic or some messy combination of the two — to
  platform women as subjects and storytellers in horror. This year’s Best
  Of program showcases six shorts from Belgium\, the US\, the UK\, Australi
 a\, and Japan - plus a bonus local flavor that we put in the mix from Sout
 h African director Nace DeSanders. Get ready to see carnivorous plants\, u
 nwanted growths\, not so friendly imaginary friends\, demonic bargains\, a
 nd the everyday horror of living in a body. The Bioscope is proud to bring
  this unique and important film festival to South Africa this October once
  again thanks to Deniz Sertkol\, independent film curator\, critic and co-
