 ng Irish folk singer Chan Reid for an afternoon of learning how to sing se
 an nos “old style” unaccompanied Irish songs. Learn where to find rare
  and unusual songs to add to your solo singing repertoire and how to phras
 e and deliver them in an authentic Irish sean nos style. We will focus in 
 particular on the unique ornamentation “voice rolls” that are a featur
 e of this type of singing. All songs will be taught in the ENGLISH languag
 e. Suitable for all levels including complete beginners. We will also expl
 ore general singing techniques and learn useful breathing and vocal warm u
 p exercises. This is a 3 hour workshop from 1 - 4pm with a 15 minute reces
