DESCRIPTION:SHE PAST AWAY is a dark wave / post-punk duo\, consisting of Vo
 lkan Caner (vocal\, guitars and songwriting) and Doruk Ozturkcan (drums\, 
 synths and production). Experimenting old/new aesthetic of synth music int
 o their core guitar stuff\, She Past Away forged a sound\, an attitude\, a
 nd a sensibility\, conveyed through a minimalist poetry sung in Turkish\, 
 which sweeps the audience through a dense\, continual epic trip in both th
 eir recordings and live performances.\n\nShe Past Away released their crit
 ically-acclaimed first EP “Kasvetli Kutlama”\, via Remoov in April 200
 9. Following the digital release of the debut album “Belirdi Gece” in 
 February 2012\, the band was signed to Fabrika Records in 2013 and shortly
  thereafter they released “Belirdi Gece” in LP format. Including “Ri
 tuel”\, “Ruh” as well as “Kasvetli Kutlama”\, the album was list
 ed as one of the best albums of the decade 2010-2019 by post-punk.com.\n\n
 In February 2026\, the band released their latest album “Mizantrop”\, 
 further expanding their distinctive dark wave sound and aesthetic.\n\nShe 
 Past Away played headlining stages at major festivals as well as hundreds 
 of club shows around the world.\n\nChristian Dior\, the fashion brand\, us
 ed two She Past Away songs for a fashion show in 2016.\n\nSHE PAST AWAY is
  a driving\, mesmerizing outburst of sentimental anxiety through the nihil
