  have been blessed with riches here!!  \n  \nSamora Pinderhughes is a comp
 oser\, pianist\, vocalist\, filmmaker\, and multidisciplinary artist known
  for using his music to examine sociopolitical issues and fight for change
 . He works in the tradition of black surrealists throughout the African Di
 aspora\, those who bend word\, sound\, and image towards the causes of rev
 olution.\n\nPinderhughes has collaborated with many artists across boundar
 ies and scenes including Herbie Hancock\, Common\, Glenn Ligon\, Sara Bare
 illes\, Daveed Diggs\, Titus Kaphar\, Lalah Hathaway\, August Greene\, Rob
 ert Glasper\, Karriem Riggins\, Branford Marsalis\, Christian Scott\, Jose
  James\, and Emily King.\n\nPinderhughes is the first-ever Art for Justice
  + Soros Justice Fellow and a recipient of Chamber Music America’s 2020 
 Visionary Award\, a Creative Capital awardee\, a Joe’s Pub / Public Thea
 ter NYC Artist-in-Residence\, and a Sundance Composers Lab fellow.\n\nAn e
 vent at St James the Great is expensive and tickets are priced to help us
