DESCRIPTION:Join indie folk singer-songwriter Kim Franklin aka Blank Instr
 ument and friends for a special evening celebrating the launch of her debu
 t album Jumping at Ghosts . After releasing her first two EPs\, So Far (20
 20) and My Piano Sounds Okay (2022)\, Kim joined the I Heart Songwriting C
 lub in 2023\, committing to writing a song a week for 10 weeks. The songs 
 that emerged explore love\, heartbreak\, grief\, and mental health. Moving
  between heartfelt piano ballads\, country-infused guitar tunes\, and blue
 sy rock\, the album highlights Kim’s unique voice and lyrical honesty. T
 he recording of Jumping at Ghosts was made possible through a generous gif
 t\, left by Kim’s dear friend Julie when she passed away at the end of 2
 023. Recording began at Sundown Studios in June 2024 with producer Elliot 
 Smith and features performances from local musicians Lee Jones\, Luke Dux 
 and Emily Barker. For this launch\, Kim has assembled a new band to perfor
 m the album – a rare chance to experience these songs live\, with full i
 nstrumentation. Supported by the wonderful Midnight Francine\, we welcome
