DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to announce the Spacelab Christmas Party with 
 Nancy Noise\, Irvine Welsh & Jimmy Love Nancy Noise is one of the true pio
 neers of the UK house scene arguably being one of the first DJs to pick up
  on the Ibiza scene being a regular at DJ Alfredo's legendary sessions at 
 Amnesia throughout the summers of 1986 & 1987. She was one of ‘The Walwo
 rth Road girls’\, the angelic urchins mixing it with the international j
 et trash of Ibiza’s legendary open-air Amnesia in 1987. When a bunch of 
 likeminded Ibiza veterans imported the sunshine and pills formula into dre
 ary old London\, Nancy Turner became Nancy Noise. Armed with a plastic bag
  of records\, she showed herself to be a DJ of sensitivity and deep music 
 knowledge\, not least because while her mates were going doolally in Amnes
 ia she had made time to obsessively note down the wild and weird records A
 lfredo and Leo Mas were playing. Haunting Rough Trade and the Virgin Megas
 tore\, she amassed the Balearic canon and employed it to great effect at T
 he Future and Spectrum. ‘I didn’t really want to be a DJ\, I just had 
 loads of records\,’ she told i-D in 1990. Today she’s one of the fines
 t\, with a forward-looking Balearic style that still owes a huge debt to t
 hose formative years. Nancy since has became a legend of her own standing 
 and Spacelab are so pleased one of the first ladies of house has agreed to
  join us for our Christmas jam. We had ana amazing Chrimbo Party last year
  with superb DJ Irvine Welsh who smashed it out of the ball park with his 
 cosmic sounds. We are delighted Irvine returns to join us fresh from launc
 hing his 'Trainspotting' The Musical in July. Local DJ and amazing DJ Jimm
 y Love will provide Balearic sounds in the heated and roofed garden to com
 plete a stella line up. We thoroughly look forward to your company as we s
