 IMITED for this exclusive intimate concert. Tickets will NOT be available 
 at the door.\nI will be performing a solo concert on FELT piano on Tuesday
  October 6\, 2026 at 7:00 pm. This concert will be at St Andrews River Hei
 ghts United Church in Winnipeg. (Wheelchair Accessible - outside ramp/indo
 or elevator).\nWe are in a smaller\, more intimate setting in the lounge a
 t St Andrews River heights. It's a lovely room with a FELT piano.\nThe eve
 ning will be comprised of original compositions performed by Danny\, plus 
 a special appearance by l'aura Carroll joining Danny on a couple of tunes 
 with a crystal singing bowl and Rav (tongue drum).\nThe Felt piano has a s
 oft\, hushed tone\, produced by a piece of felt that is situated between t
 he hammers and the strings\, providing a muted ambience.\nBelow is a previ

 t Danny Carroll is a seasoned Manitoba artist and performer. At the core o
 f all of the music he composes and plays is a soulful expression of musica
 lly ‘thinking in sound’. His original music combines many different ge
 nres (jazz\, neo-classical (akin to Olafur Arnalds\, Nils Frahm and Max R
 ichter)\, classical-crossover\, electronic instruments) and improvisation 
 into a very accessible and unique musical voice.\nInterwoven throughout th
 e music are Danny's insightful thoughts and humorous stories from his life
 's journey.\nWinnipeg Free Press “Carroll has composed genre-blurring wo
 rks that have elements of classical\, new age\, jazz and electronics meant
  to keep the ‘ol ticker beating from one life-affirming moment to the ne

 ogether.”\n Danny’s music has been heard in many Winnipeg theatre pro
 ductions: Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre\, Prairie Theatre Exchange\, Manit
 oba Theatre for Young People\, and Winnipeg Jewish Theatre. He has also cr
 eated music for children’s choir\, film\, and corporate videos. Danny is
  a gigging pianist\, a favourite performer for many private and corporate 
 functions. He played often at the Hotel Fort Garry lounge for 18 years and
  played the opening performance this year with his trio for the Winnipeg I
 nternational Jazz Festival. Danny has played for Rainbow Stage (Canada’s
  largest outdoor musical theatre venue) as rehearsal pianist\, pit musicia
 n and Music Director\, and is inducted in the Wall of Fame at Rainbow Stag
 e.He has a Bachelor of Music (Composition) and Masters in Education.\n“M
