DESCRIPTION:with Donna Cheshire - Join artist Donna Cheshire in a workshop
  inspired by her recent travels and observations“I’ve been travelling 
 around a lot recently\, and everywhere I’ve been I have come across rows
  of colourful shops and houses. This gave me the idea to create a textile 
 memento of these lovely places and so the idea for this workshop developed
 .” You will be making a free standing street scene using fabric and stit
 ch on pelmet vilene. Your street scene will feature your choice of a minim
 um of 3 buildings\, these could be houses\, shops\, beach huts\, lighthous
 es! Even a castle if we have time!! Be sure to bring visual references of 
 your colourful places. (Drawings\, photos\, magazine images etc)Donna will
  bring sewing equipment and materials to the workshop but if you have a fa
 vourite piece of fabric or even some paper ephemera from your location (ti
 ckets\, wrapping or paper bags\, logos\, holiday journalling or sketches f
 or example -remember that these will be torn or cut up to add so make copi
