DESCRIPTION:Choreographer May Zarhy brings Kristin\, a choreographic sketc
 h made of a series of physical positions\, to Vancouver for its North Amer
 ican premiere. This piece explores the relationship between memory and mov
 ement\, seeking out how it is driven by dealing with forces that only beco
 me visible through the dancing.\nCreated in collaboration with dancer Amit
  Zaretsky\, this performance is presented in a unique format: solo\, conve
 rsation\, and solo presented for a second time.\nThis format\, devised by 
 visual artists Ruth Anderwald and Leonhard Grond is called Hasenherz\, was
  appropriated by musician Arnold Schönberg. Schönberg would play a piece
  of contemporary music\, discuss it with the artist and audience\, and the
 n present another performance of the same piece. By experiencing a piece t
 wice with a discussion in the middle\, new things are revealed\, and fresh
