 or most of his life his songs had to be put aside in favor of his beloved 
 wife Anne and their three sons\, as he struggled as a provider.\n\nThen la
 te in life when he found himself alone it was music that came back and gav
 e him purpose\, and it was on the legendary Eddie’s Attic open mic stage
  where he reemerged. As he began again to write and record his songs he wa
 s joined by the artists who formed the Standard Electric Band\, each of wh
 om has maintained brilliant careers of their own. They’ve now made four 
 albums and played a long string of memorable gigs.\n\nAfter living in Euro
 pe for almost three years\, as a producer and missionary\, he’s returned
  with renewed perspective and energy\, writing and performing with even mo
 re appreciation of the value of story and the tolling of time.\n\nJoin us

 r\, teacher\, and mother originally from Tupelo\, Mississippi. She’s a c
 lassically trained pianist who learned to play guitar at Monday night sing
 in’s in rural Itawamba County. Her witty lyricisms and haunting melodies
  evoke an exceptional blend of Southern Gothic and confessional folk. Ashl
 ey’s voice has been compared to Alison Krauss mixed with the devastating
  songwriting depth of Patty Griffin. She lives in Lilburn with her husband
