 gan posting about his daily experiences on Reddit. Three activists\, moved
  by his words\, collected his posts—which made their way to award-winnin
 g author Yasuko Thanh\, who worked with Hassan to turn them into this boo
 k of powerful\, clear-eyed witness. Pizza Before We Die is an essential 
 first-hand account of the horrors of the genocide\, and the dignity and re
 sistance of the Palestinian people. Thanh is joined on-stage by Carol Sha
 ben\, author of The Marriott Cell: her co-written account of the story o
 f wrongfully imprisoned Al Jazeera journalist Mohamed Fahmy. Together\,
  they’ll discuss the ongoing suffering in Gaza\; our responsibility to
  solidarity\; and what it means to share someone else’s story when they 
 are so horribly at risk. \nYasuko Thanh’s attendance presented thank
