 k \, digital hardcore \, and incidental found sound culled from bandleader
  and composer Bonnie Baxter. Hisham Bharoocha (formerly of seminal of US p
 rojects Black Dice and Lightening Bolt and a solo artist under the Soft Ci
 rcle moniker ) provides his signature battering ram drum performances\, wh
 ich collide with Bonnie’s electronic percussion elements and spacey guit
 ars to animate the band’s ballistic compositions both on record and in t
 he context of their live shows.\n\nWhile their music often surges with mom
 ents of all consuming textural disfiguration and overlapping beat architec
 tures\, Kill Alters encapsulates the sum total of their clamor into songs 
 structures that resemble something like mutated pop and punk music. Baxter
 ’s vocal performances veer on a dime between driving melodies \, blister
 ing shouts and tumbling rhythmic cadences with beat sculpture / synthesis 
 funneled into fast - evolving tracks that leap into earworm hooks \, drum 
 and bass workouts and unpredictable structural upheavals.\n\n\\--\n\nMulti
 -dimensional music festival Project Nowhere returns for a fourth year to e
 lectrify Toronto’s west end OCT 1-3\, 2026. The first wave of artists ha
