This city i s the oldest and most traditional part of Portugal. It’s the capital of the north of country and the second biggest city in Portugal. It is famous for its friendly people\, the architecture and\, of course\, the famous P ort Wine. This fantastic city invites you to try the delicious “Francesi nha” which is a famous Portuguese dish\, traditionally from\, and best s erved in\, Porto!
Nestled along the charming D ouro River\, Porto stands as the oldest and most authentic jewel in Portug al's crown. It's not just a city\; it's a journey through time\, inviting you to explore its cobblestone streets\, bask in its friendly ambiance\, a nd savor its rich history.
To connect the city with the nature we have 1 day in the Douro Valley (do yourself a favor an d go check some pictures of it!) where\, besides the amazing views we will have a wine tasting. As Europe's oldest demarcated wine region\, the Dour o offers dramatic landscapes\, historic vineyards\, and a sense of place t hat sets it apart from other wine regions in Europe.

Note 2: If you don 't have our ELL card you can join the event but you have to purchase the " without ELL card" ticket option

Note 4: Please ensure that you provide yo ur ID (or passport) number when purchasing the ticket\, as it is required for trip insurance purposes.
Note 5: You will need to pay a 20€ deposit (cash) that will be returned to you at the end of the trip in case everything goes well and after the hostel gives the c onfirmation (we send all information and when to pay the deposit later by email)
