The grand finale of a long-running live storytelling competition. Ten of Vancouver's best writers and performers tell original stories and compete for the title of 2026 Storytelling Champion. Winner selected by audience vote.

Found ed in 2004\, Vancouver Story Slam is the longest-running live storytelling event of its kind in Canada - and the second-longest-running in the world ! Throughout the year\, over 100 people sign up to share their original wr iting live onstage. Audience members vote for their favourite stories\; to p storytellers are invited to participate in this\, the annual championshi p. Nearly $3\,000 in cash prizes are awarded annually.

Vancouver St ory Slam has been featured in the Vancouver Sun\, The Province\, and on CB C Radio.

As this is the final event in a year-long competition\, th e performers will be announced closer to the event date.
