 een stuck\, unable to write anything that truly inspired me or resonated w
 ith me. So I took time off being creative and did a lot of inner healing\,
  eventually coming to a sense of acceptance about a lot of things in terms
  of past turbulent relationships\, missing my childhood\, identity crises.
  Then one day I stumbled into making this song. I was watching YouTube wit
 h my guitar plugged into the amp\, just playing around with chords\, until
  I landed on something that felt really good. After that I was in a comple

 lebrate the release of ‘Fickle’\, Newport will be heading on an Austra
 lian headline tour in October. Kicking off at the Bergy Bandroom in Melbou
 rne on Friday\, 2 October\, Newport will then head to Port Macquarie for a
  set at Hideaway Festival on Saturday\, 3 October\, followed by The Bright
 side Indoors on Sunday 4 October. The following week he will play a hometo
 wn show in Perth at the Indian Ocean Hotel on Friday 9 October\, followed 
 by a Bunbury show on Saturday\, 10 October at Froth Craft. Newport will th
 en head to the Jive in Adelaide on Friday\, 30 October and wrap in Sydney 
 on Saturday\, 31 October at The Botany View Hotel. ‘Fickle’ follows Ne
