Auch seine Konzerttätigkeit führte ihn rund um den Globus – nach Afrika\, Brasilien\, Südkorea\, Russland und durch zahlreiche europäische Länder. Dabei entstanden bedeutende Pro jekte wie die „Sounds of Mirrors Tour“ mit Dhafer You ssef sowie die „Unstatic Tour“ mit Manu Katché.
< p>Als Bandleader veröffentlichte Raffaele Casarano bislang sieben Alben u nd wirkte darüber hinaus an mehr als 100 Produktionen als Co-Leader und G astmusiker mit.Im Rahmen seiner Europatournee präsentiert Casarano zentrale Werke seines bisherigen Schaffens und gibt zugleich einen exklus iven Ausblick auf sein neues Album\, das im Frühjahr 2027 beim renommiert en deutschen Label ECM unter der Leitung von Manf red Eicher erscheinen wird. Raffaele Casarano\, saxophonist\, composer\, producer\, and a leading figure of Italy’s New Jazz Generation\, is an artist whos e roots are firmly anchored in his homeland\, Salento in southern Italy. T hrough his phrasing and artistic work\, he reinterprets the sound of the A fro-American diaspora\, opening it to contemporary influences and to conne ctions with ‘distant worlds’ that his music makes feel familiar.< /p>
This is evident in his collaborations with internationally accla imed artists\, interpreters of diverse musical languages and cultural trad itions\, including Richard Bona\, Sting\, Noa\, Nguyen Le\, Rhani Krija\, Nicolas Vicaro\, and Paolo Fresu\, who welcomed him to his Tuk Music label \, among many others. It is also reflected in his extensive touring across Africa\, Brazil\, South Korea\, Russia\, and Europe\, including projects such as the ‘Sounds of Mirrors Tour’ with Dhafer Youssef and the ‘Un static Tour’ with Manu Katché.
His artistic journey has resulted in seven albums released as a bandleader\, as well as participati on in more than 100 recordings as a co-leader and collaborator.
