It’s BFF 2026, the 11th Annual BFF Binge Fringe Festival of FREE Theatre, October 13 through November 20, the only FREE Fringe Festival in the nation, offering 37 in-person plays, workshops and family-oriented events, presenting:
The true story of one man's journey to find his birth father — a man he knew only by name, Robert Hennessey, a truck driver. What he discovers along the way involves identity, family secrets, an escape from a cult, battling AIDS and kissing John Stamos. Winner of Outstanding Storytelling at San Diego Fringe 2026 and fresh from the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, this acclaimed one-man show is written and performed by Michael Hennessy.
Funny, heartbreaking, and utterly human — this is a story about what we find when we finally stop searching. Winner of the OUTSTANDING STORYTELLING Award San Diego International Fringe Festival 2026.
