MTL Basics: Intro to Workshop Tools (SPTL)

In this workshop you'll become familiar with the Saint Paul branch of the Minnesota Tool Library and learn how to use the shop machines confidently & safely. No experience necessary!We will cover the safe setup & operation of the jointer, table saw, planer, miter saw, belt/spindle sanders, drill press and band saw. The class size is small so there will be plenty of time for questions and to try each tool. This is a great intro to some of our core on-site tools. It also makes a wonderful refresher if it's been a while and you need to re-familiarize yourself with the shop.
