The Gathering

Reconnecting Our People. Building Our Future.
The Gathering is a movement dedicated to reconnecting the African Diaspora with our brothers andsisters throughout Sub-Saharan Africa and rebuilding the relationships, knowledge, culture, andeconomic connections that bind us together as a global people.
Our mission is rooted in a simple conviction: our separation does not have to define our future.Across generations and continents, people of African descent have developed remarkable communities, skills, businesses, traditions, and knowledge. Yet the historical forces that separated the Africancontinent from its Diaspora have also created economic and cultural gaps that continue to affect ourcommunities today. We believe those gaps can be bridged through intentional relationships, education, cooperation, and collective action.
The Gathering welcomes people throughout Africa and the African Diaspora who believe that ourgreatest potential may be found not in what separates us, but in what we can accomplish together.
From Africa to the Diaspora. From the Diaspora to Africa. From one generation to the next.
GATHER. CONNECT. BUILD. EMPOWER. SUSTAIN.
The time to gather is now.
