Northern Soul Orchestrated

Northern Soul Orchestrated is here to transport you back in time!

Join the BBC Concert Orchestra, presenter Stuart Maconie, conductor Joe Duddell and a superb line-up of singers for this stomping celebration of British club culture, bringing a symphonic edge to the beats that took English towns across the industrial north and the Midlands by storm in the 1960s and 1970s. What began as a celebration of forgotten American soul B-sides became a euphoric release at all-night dances for factory workers.

Curated by writer and broadcaster (BBC Radio 6) Stuart Maconie, Northern Soul Orchestrated brings back the true spirit of an iconic movement.

The ticket price includes a £2 venue restoration levy.
